Grief and loss are the transitioning of a relationship between you and someone or something else. Regardless of the circumstance, you are having the experience of moving from having, to not having or having differently.

It has been a little over a year since my last Bump. I didn't know what or when to write, so I chose to Be. I waited, I listened, and then I got a harsh kick in the butt.
Come To The Edge
Come To The Edge is one of my favorite poems. Mary Schmidt Campbell, former Dean of Tisch School of the Arts, used to recite it at the Tisch graduation and I fell in love with it.
What's Good For the Body
I have taught movement for actors for about 25 years, and 20 of those years have been at the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School. Movement is the vehicle to camouflage lessons in kindness, a sense of common humanity and mindfulness. This is a blog post written for the Atlantic's website.
